TYLER, Texas — The Blinn College men’s soccer team fell to Jacksonville College, 3-0, in the Region XIV quarterfinals Thursday.

With the loss, the Buccaneers were eliminated from the postseason tournament and end the season with a 6-8 overall record.

This isn’t the way we wanted the season to end, but this team made progress and stayed positive, so hopefully we can carry that into the fall.”

Cesar Cabrera and Marco Rodriguez Jr. led Blinn’s offense with three shots on goal each, while Marco Del VecchioStefan Fevrier Sildor, and Oliver Hebbard each had two.

Goalkeeper Adalid Abrego Jr. recorded four saves against the Jaguars.
