To protect the health and safety of its campus community, the Blinn College District has partnered with Ivy.ai to create an easy, one-step self-certification process for employees, students, and campus visitors.

All individuals who enter a Blinn College facility will be required to self-certify using the free, convenient Campus Clear app. Ivy.ai estimates that the self-certification process takes less than 10 seconds each day, and setup consists of three simple steps:

  1. Visit www.campusclear.com to use the web app, or download the mobile app at the App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
  2. Open the app and enter your Blinn email address.
  3. Each day, you will receive a notification asking whether you are exhibiting symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19. If the answer is no, you are cleared to access campus.

Blinn asks that students and employees complete the self-certification each day, even if they do not plan to be on campus that day or are taking online classes.

Students who are not cleared to come to campus should stay home and email their instructor that they will not be in class because they have not been cleared for campus access. The student will receive a call from a Blinn employee. Students who are not cleared to come to campus may still participate remotely in courses with that capability.

Employees who are not cleared to come to campus will stay home, contact Human Resources, and inform their supervisor that they have not been cleared to come to campus.

Students and employees who feel ill should seek medical assistance and should call 911 in an emergency. For more information regarding campus health clinics, please see www.blinn.edu/health-clinic/pdf/health-clinics-campus-clear.pdf.
