The Blinn College volleyball team improved to 7-0 in conference play and won its 25th consecutive match Tuesday with a 3-0 win over Lee College. The road win improved third-ranked Blinn’s season mark to 26-1.
The conference-leading Buccaneers will host Navarro College on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Kruse Center. Navarro is 10-5 on the season and on a six-match winning streak. The Bulldogs are 4-1 in conference, including a 3-0 win Tuesday over Wharton County Junior College.
Blinn’s win over Lee College was 25-12, 26-24, 25-20.
Reagan Casey and Chard’e Van Zandt led Blinn with eight kills each. Jayde Shelton, the NJCAA leader in total kills this season, added six. Ashley Taylor also finished with six kills.
Lina Ellila had 24 assists for the Bucs, with Kyndal Coufal and Lixai Perez each getting nine digs.
