Bellville ISD will be closed the week of March 16-March 20 due to concerns regarding the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019.
All school-related practices are cancelled as of March 13, 2020 for the duration of the school closure. Participation in all school-related competitions are cancelled as of March 14, 2020 for the duration of the school closure.
BISD Food Services will be providing Grab-&Go breakfast, lunch, and snack items to BISD students. These items can be picked up from the O’Bryant Intermediate Cafeteria March 16-March 20 from 8:30am-10:00am.
Guidance for our Staff & Families: The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. We encourage all stakeholders to keep this in mind during the extended leave from school. Please see additional information regarding the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 provided by the Center for Disease Control.
The BISD Board of Trustees will reconvene on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30pm to review updated information for our area and determine any additional steps necessary at that time to keep our community well.
