NEWS RELEASE
The 2025 District 11 Texas Extension Education Association Spring Conference was held April 10, 2025, in Victoria. Presiding at the conference was Knellen Quinteros, Austin County, the District 11 Director. Pat Allee, Austin County, served as Secretary; and Janice Alexander, Fayette County, gave the Treasurer’s report.
Serving as delegates were Pat Allee, Joan Buenger, and Doris Glenewinkel. Also attending were Jo Ann Reichle and Jessie Kokemor who helped with the Cultural Arts contest. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent Michelle Wright was also in attendance. Mary Smentek was recognized as a 20-year member.
After the business session, a workshop was held on succulents, and everyone got to plant their own succulent in a cute container. Money was collected for district scholarships and for the 4-H center in Brownwood.
