Austin County Sheriff’s Office Warns Of Cattle Theft

The Austin County Sheriff’s Department has released the following Press Release concerning cattle thieving happening in the Austin County Area:

On March 20, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., the Austin County Sheriff’s Office received information that twelve 400 lb. calves, with yellow in color ear tags, were stolen from cattle pens located on FM 331, in the Burleigh area. It was reported that someone cut the lock on the gate, entered the property, loaded the cattle and then left.
