Cattle producers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals will have the opportunity to gain valuable herd management insights during the Austin County Cow-Calf Clinic and Trade Show, scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2026.
The event will take place at the Four County Auction Center, 11942 Highway 159 West in Bellville. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with the educational program starting at 9:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
Hosted by the Austin County Beef & Forage Committee in partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the clinic will focus on practical strategies designed to improve herd health, reproduction, and overall cattle management.
The cost to attend the cow-calf clinic is $45 per person, which includes admission to the clinic, access to the trade show, refreshments before and after the program, and a catered lunch.
Focus on Reproduction and Herd Health
This year’s clinic will highlight reproductive management and herd health topics important to cattle producers. Presentations will cover:

Breeding soundness exams

Trichomoniasis testing in bulls

How vaccinations and nutrition support reproduction

Controlling internal and external parasites

Reducing stress in cattle herds

An update on the New World screwworm
These topics are designed to help producers better manage their herds, improve breeding success, and protect overall herd productivity.

Trade Show and Door Prizes
Along with the educational sessions, the event will feature a trade show with representatives from the cattle and ranching industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit vendor booths, learn about products and services designed for livestock operations, and connect with industry professionals.
Vendors will also provide several door prizes, including a grand prize of a $500 Visa gift card.
Continuing Education Credits
Participants who hold a private, commercial, or non-commercial pesticide applicator license will be eligible to receive two continuing education units (CEUs) during the clinic.
