Blue Santa began when police officers noticed that some families in their communities were struggling to afford holiday gifts or even basic food. Wanting to help, they stepped in to bridge that gapโgathering toys, food, and essentials to make the season brighter for children who might otherwise go without.
As the effort grew, it became more than a gift-giving project. It developed into a meaningful way for law enforcement and local families to connect, support one another, and strengthen community trust. Austin County’s police departments are keeping the tradition alive again this year with the 2025 Blue Santa Program. Below is the information for each program.
