The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association will host its Annual Fruit & Citrus Tree Sale on Friday, August 29, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the American Legion Post #442, located at 1630 Meyer Street in Sealy. This one-day sale will feature a wide selection of locally sourced fruit and citrus trees, chosen specifically to thrive in the areaโs climate and soil conditions. Master Gardeners will be on site to provide guidance and help shoppers select the best trees for their needs.
All proceeds from the sale support the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Associationโs scholarship program, community gardening projects, and youth activities throughout Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington Counties. Alongside the tree sale, the Fall Horticulture Seminar will also take place on August 29 at the same location. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with presentations running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The seminar is hosted by the Horticulture Committee of Austin County and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County. The cost to attend the seminar is $20 per person or $35 per couple, with a $5 discount available to those who purchase a tree from the sale.
