Alvineda ended the game three minutes into the second overtime, scoring on a pass from Lexington Kneedler in the conference matchup.
Blinn is now 3-3-1 in conference and for the season.
“The message was clear to the team after some tough results in the last matches – work hard and stay committed to the process,” assistant coach Alexandria Jackson said. “That’s what this team did today. We controlled the game from start to finish with our ability to press and keep possession. We looked dangerous every time we had the ball. Our wingers are some of the best in the conference. I’m extremely proud of these players and this team.”
Goalie Angel Chase had three saves for Blinn.
Blinn will host Cisco College in a non-conference game at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rankin Field.
