Members of the Texas A&M and Blinn dance teams will join for a college prep clinic Sunday, Sept. 19, from 1-4 p.m. at Texas A&M University. The clinic will include jazz combo and hip-hop combo routines. Tuition is $50 with a $5 registration fee.

This marks the first time the two programs have joined for a clinic, said Sarah Barland Flisowski, head coach of Blinn’s cheer and dance program.
“With the close ties between Blinn and A&M, this is a no-brainer,” said Barland Flisowski, who has led Blinn to eight national dance titles and six national cheer titles.
Two dance clinics will also be held in the Heineke Gym on the Blinn-Brenham Campus from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. Registration is $30 and available at www.buccaneersports.com/sports/dance/clinics.
Cheer clinics are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 13. Both will be held from 2-5 p.m. in Heineke Gym and registration is $30. To sign up online, go to www.buccaneersports.com/sports/cheer/clinics.
