The Faith Academy Bellville Varsity Volleyball team improved to 9-7-3 and 3-1 in district play with a 25-7, 25-9, 25-12 sweep of Seventh Day Adventists Christian School.ย
FA hosts Conroe Calvary Baptist Church in an early big district battle at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 26. Calvary enters the match with an early one-game advantage, 4-0, ย in district play. After the district match the Lady Knights travel to Weimer at 5:30 p.m. for a non-district Friday, September 29 match.
โWe played decent against a team (Adventists) that was having trouble with keeping the ball in play,โ McLain. โI thought we could have been more aggressive at the service line and with some defensive transition but we played a good match overall.โ
