Store Counter and Sales Associate

South Texas Tack, LLC is a retail store located outside of Brenham, Texas. We service customers online and by catalog nationwide. South Texas Tack, LLC is seeking to hire a Counter Sales Associate to join our team at the store in Brenham, Texas. Job Requirements, Responsibilities, Skills and Knowledge

Requirements:

• full time -work hours from 9am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday (one day off) Closed Sundays
• must take lunch at store
• strong communication skills
• being a team leader
• work independently
• stand on feet all day
• employee handbook that requires signature before employment
• HORSE and TACK knowledge

Responsibilities:

• assist customers with merchandise questions
• check customers out
• cover counter at all times
• cleaning work area
• straightening merchandise
• informing customers of promotions
• informing customers of policy
• occasional merchandising if directed by manager
• responsible for assigned drawer

Job responsibilities will be discussed in detail in person interview.

Knowledge:

• Educated on product sold in store and online
• Needs to have prior horse and tack knowledge
