Austin County residents are reminded that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming November 2024 general election is fast approaching. The last day to register is Monday, October 7, 2024. To ensure that all eligible residents can cast their vote, the Austin County Elections Office urges individuals to check their registration status and make any necessary updates before the deadline. This includes updating your registration if you have moved or changed your name recently.
To register, visit the Austin County Elections Office at 804 East Wendt Street, Bellville, Texas, or access the Texas Secretary of State’s website at www.votetexas.gov. Residents can download a voter registration form from the website, which must be completed and postmarked by Sunday, October 6, 2024.
