Blinn College softball had no trouble getting any run support after beating Murray State College 9-5 and Hill College 16-0 in five innings to close out the San Jacinto College Softball Tournament Saturday.

Blinn College men’s basketball was able to keep the game close in the first half but No. 6 San Jacinto College-Central pulled away with about three minutes to go in the first half and cruise to a 102-69 victory Saturday evening.

Blinn College women’s basketball had a hard time finding and hitting shots in a 56-37 loss to No. 19 San Jacinto College-North Saturday afternoon.

Two out of three is a pretty good start for Blinn College softball on the first day of the San Jacinto College Softball Tournament. After opening the tournament with a 4-0 loss to Temple College, the Buccaneers bounced back to beat Murray State College 13-4 and Hill College 7-4 Friday.
