The City of Sealy earned recognition for the Texas Comptrollers Transparency Stars Program. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar recently announced that the City of Sealy was one of a number of local government entities to achieve specific transparency goals through the Comptroller’s Transparency Stars program. The Transparency Stars program is a state program that recognizes local governments for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts.

Approximately 150 junior high and high school students will put their historical knowledge on display during the 2017 Brazos Valley Regional History Fair held Friday, Feb. 10, at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site. The theme for this year’s history fair is “Taking a Stand in History.”
