This morning, around 11:30 AM, WB I-10 at mile marker 725 was closed after an 18-wheeler hit and damaged an overpass column at mile marker 725 between Sealy and the Waller County line.  Texas Department of Transportation tweeted at 11:59 AM about the accident to help make people aware of the wreck.  The actual location of the wreck was I-10 at Mlcak Rd. east of Sealy.  KTRK out of Houston covered the story (their video is below).  Pictures began to show up online from local individuals who were near the scene.  All lanes of the interstate were initially shutdown until engineers confirmed the structural integrity of the bridge was safe enough for traffic to begin flowing under it again.  The accident caused a 5-10 mile backup on I-10.
