Cheryl Mellenthin, President of the Mark A. Chapman Foundation, made good on her promise to put money forward on the IH-10 Frontage Road project in Sealy.  The money was offered during the Sealy City Council meeting held on October 27, 2015 in an effort to help the project forward.  The check in the amount of $100,000.00 was presented to the Sealy EDC on Tuesday night of the December EDC meeting.  At the end of the December 8th Sealy City Council Meeting, during the city managers report, the city manager stated that the frontage road project was moving along accordingly.  He stated that payment had been successfully delivered to TxDot and that the developer would be deeding the land over to TxDot for the road to be built on.  He also stated that he anticipated a few other actions on the part of the city would be coming before Sealy City Council in the next few months.  The people in the photo are from L-R:  Cheryl Mellenthin, Kim Meloneck, Executive Director Sealy EDC and Lois Krenek, Mark A.
