Sealy PD responded to a robbery in progress call on April 5th, 2023, where a good Samaritan witnessed the robbery and intervened. The suspect, Travis Wells, was arrested for robbery and an open warrant for aggravated robbery of an elderly person.

Two male subjects have been arrested by Sealy PD Patrol Officer Torres for multiple narcotics charges, following a successful drug bust in the 700 block of Roosevelt. Approximately 427 grams of Ecstasy, 96 grams of Adderall, 5 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 2 grams of Cocaine, and a 9mm handgun were seized during the operation, which took place less than 1000 feet from a school.
