Though Ron Paul doesn’t celebrate his actual birthday until August 20, 2015, that didn’t stop the Mises Institute and many of his fans and loyal supporters, 650 people who came from 27 different states, from throwing him their own special birthday party yesterday.  The party was held at the Dow Academic Center of Brazosport College in Lake Jackson Texas from 4pm to 7pm.  Not only were the many fans present but, several of the faculty and staff from the Ludwig Von Mises Institute located in Auburn, Alabama were in attendance as well.  Ron Paul has been involved in the Mises Institute from its inception in 1982 and carries many of the core economic beliefs from the Austrian School of Economics that the institute champions.  It is this economic understanding that has given him the insight into being able to predict many of the economic woes that America has recently faced well before they happened.   The events keynote speakers were longtime friend and Chairman of the Mises Institute Lew Rockwell, respected author and friend Thomas Woods, Jr. and, Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano.  The crowd enjoyed country music, a Texas BBQ dinner, birthday cake and everyone had a chance to have their picture taken with the birthday honoree himself.  Though he is no longer in politics, Dr. Paul still stays very active with his Liberty Report, many guest appearances on the news networks, his homeschool program, and lectures he gives for the Mises Institute.  So Happy Birthday Ron Paul!  We the lovers of liberty wish you the best!
