The Blinn College women’s soccer was defeated by No. 2 Tyler Junior College, 4-0, in a Region XIV match Saturday in Tyler, Texas.
Tyler outshot the Buccaneers 6-4, with a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Apaches tallied goals in the seventh, 11th, 23rd, and 58th minutes.
Blinn (3-3, 2-3 Region XIV) gets back to work with a conference bout against Trinity Valley Community College at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Hohlt Park’s Rankin Field.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
