Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
A distribution center in Katy has an immediate need for Warehouse Associates to join their team. The role includes performing a variety of functions such as receiving and processing incoming stock/materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The Warehouse Associates will utilize the Oracle ERP system for tasks such as receiving shipments, creating pick tickets, and logging inventory.
Responsibilities
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders from stock.
• Pack and ship orders.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock in the warehouse.
• Utilize Oracle ERP system for logging received shipments, creating pick tickets, and conducting cycle counts.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the working day.
• Replenish materials in the area when required.
• Achieve daily order and pick metrics.
• Meet monthly individual performance targets.
• Undertake general warehouse duties as directed by Supervisors or the Warehouse Manager.
• Be available to work weekends and long hours as needed to achieve department goals.
Essential Skills
• Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ERP systems.
• Ability to perform inventory counts and order selection.
• Experience in order pulling and unloading.
• Good attitude, strong work ethic, and flexibility.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience as a material handler in a distribution center.
• Experience processing, picking, and packing customer orders in line with a Quality Management System.
• Experience as a Warehouse Lead.
