Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in shipping and receiving processes, as well as experience with warehouse management systems.

Duties

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are accurately labeled and documented.
• Utilize a forklift to safely move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform picking and packing of orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and accessible.
• Utilize AS400 or other warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with e-commerce teams to fulfill online orders efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in using forklifts; certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce operations is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
