Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in an upscale restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and fine dining, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with customer inquiries.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
• Process payments efficiently while adhering to restaurant policies.

Skills

• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills.
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
• Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
• Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation processes is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to assist guests in a friendly manner.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• A commitment to providing high-quality hospitality in every interaction.
