Full job description

Immediate opening for a ranch hand and grounds keeper to perform physical labor to establish and maintain the grounds, which includes, but is not limited to, mowing, edging, pool cleaning, clearing, fence removal, tree planting, and more.

• Perform routine maintenance for grass (mow, edge), pool, ponds (weed eat) and fields (mow)
• Assist in irrigation maintenance
• Operate a variety of equipment such as edgers, zero turn mower, saws, other power tools and tractors
• Perform general care and maintenance of trees, including pruning, clearing underneath, fertilizers, etc
• Leave all equipment and tools clean, organized, and stored in orderly fashion after each use
• Ability to work independently
• Can follow verbal instructions and respond to questions about job tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Wear appropriate PPE for different tasks
• Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Pass a background chec & drug test
• No drug use; no alcohol before or during work hours

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Driver's License
• Knowledge and experience in land management/maintenance and trees
• Experience with power tools and machinery
• Detailed oriented, enjoys working outside, safety conscious
• Extra skills desired but not mandatory: house handyman (lights, toilets, etc)
• Higher pay is available for more experience/qualifications of skills
