Description
The Austin County Library System is seeking a part time library aide working on
Saturdays only from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Knox Memorial Library in Wallis, TX.
Job Summary: The library aide will perform a variety of detailed clerical work under
minimal supervision. Duties include working at the circulation desk assisting
patrons in checking in and out of library materials, collects fines and fees, reshelve
books and DVDs, make copies, and offers basic computer assistance.
Requirements: The library aide must be at least 16 years of age. If still in high
school a diploma or GED is not required. If no longer attending school a high school
diploma or GED is required. No additional experience required.
