Food Service Worker
Location: Prairie View, TX 77445
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including kitchen, dining, and storage spaces
• Assist with food preparation, such as chopping ingredients and assembling items
• Accurately take customer orders and process cash and credit card payments
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer questions or concerns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with setup and breakdown for banquet or catering events as needed

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with food preparation and safe food handling is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule

• Hours: 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Position Description

This position works primarily within the foodservice operation, handling cash and credit transactions for customers. The role also assists with food setup and service from counters and steam tables. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workstations. The cashier must accurately operate the cash register/POS system and complete transactions. Support of the retail operation is required, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting with cleanup and close-down procedures.

• Black slacks
• Black non-slip, slip-resistant shoes
• No jewelry, false nails, nail polish, or false eyelashes permitted
• All visible tattoos must be covered

Additional Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Employee is responsible for parking fees daily
• Must have a food handlers license
