Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting various structural components.

Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday-Friday)

• They will follow precise specifications and blueprints.
• Perform fitting on structural components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate fitting equipment, including fitters, torches, and hand tools, safely and effectively.
• Prepare materials for fitting by cleaning, grinding, and fitting, as necessary. Monitor fitting performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect welded joints and structures to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain fitting equipment and tools in good working condition, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production goals and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of fitting activities, including materials used, work completed, and hours worked.
• Proven experience as a Fitter, preferably in a structural fitting environment.
• Proficiency in fitting techniques and procedures, with the ability to produce high-quality welds on various metals and thicknesses.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fitting symbols. Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to identify and correct fitting defects.
• Knowledge of fitting safety practices and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
