The Texas A&M Department of Horticultural Sciences is holding a free career day for high school students and their parents and guardians on June 5 in Bryan-College Station.

The event is a chance for those interested in a degree and/or career in horticulture to learn more about opportunities in the field. All are welcome, regardless of where the student plans to attend college.

The career day will begin at 1 p.m. at the Horticulture and Forestry Sciences Building, Room 202, 495 Horticulture St.  The event will conclude around 4:30 p.m.

Advance registration is required, and additional event information will be provided once registered at https://tx.ag/June5HortCareerDay.

Event organizers said this would be a great opportunity for students to learn about various jobs and network with successful college students and professionals within the horticulture field.
