Jason Smalley, President of the Bellville Lions Club, joined us in the living room to talk about their biggest annual fundraiser — Den Night! This patriotic-themed steak night features:
– A delicious steak dinner with baked potato, shrimp cocktail, dessert bar, and drinks
– Live music and dancing with Winfrey’s country/rock band (requests welcome!)
– Large dance floor for fun
– Live auction (12–14 items, auctioneer Mark Switzer), silent auction, and raffle (including a donated Lowboy trailer, barbecue pit with meat, and more)
It’s sure to be an evening of dining, entertainment, and community support.
All proceeds go back to the community — over $100,000 donated yearly, including scholarships, Blue Santa, and local organizations (over $1 million in the last 10 years!).
