So buckle up, because it’s shaping up to be a long show packed with laughs, good flavors, and the usual shenanigans. You’ve been warned… and yes, it’s totally worth it.
Washington Apple Whiskey Crown Drops
Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped green apples
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup whiskey (preferably Crown Royal)
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Directions
Begin by gathering all ingredients and tools.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped apples,
graham crackers, powdered sugar, whiskey, cream cheese,
and cinnamon.
Mix until well combined and slightly sticky.
Fold in walnuts if using.
Form into small balls about one inch in diameter
and place on a parchment-lined sheet.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
After chilling, drizzle caramel sauce over each ball.
Serve chilled and store in an airtight container in
the refrigerator for up to a week.
