CORSICANA, Texas — The Blinn College men’s basketball team fell to Navarro College, 72-52, on the road Saturday.
With the loss, the Buccaneers are now 10-8 overall and 8-8 in Region XIV play.
“We give Navarro credit for playing really well tonight,” head coach Scott Schumacher said. “We will just have to bounce back on Wednesday against Bossier Parish Community College on the road. Our guys are going to have to execute our fundamentals and what we need to do better.”
The Bulldogs built a 35-25 lead at halftime and extended it to 72-52 in the second half.
Next, the Buccaneers will face off against Bossier Parish on Wednesday, March 31, at 7 p.m. on the road.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 41 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
