Aggie Mothers Club Celebrates Aggie Students, Scholarship Recipients

On January 2, 2017, the Austin County Aggie Mothers Club celebrated Aggie students and scholarship recipients with a chili supper and slide show. Fightin’ Texas Aggies from the classes of ’20, ‘19, ‘18 and ’17 showed pictures of activities they have participated in and the Aggie Moms got to see and hear about adventures from the students.

Without Uber or Lyft, Austin Experiences Skyrocketing DUI Rates

After the city of Austin passed new burdensome regulations on the ride-sharing economy last summer, Uber and Lyft both decided to cease operating within city limits. In the several months since their departure, driving under the influence (DUI or DWI) arrests have already spiked according to the Austin Police Department’s own data.
